Hi, Eric,
Right now I use a Civil 3D 2015 with Productivity Pack 1 and current version of the Sandbox. I found some improvements in the exchange ( more recent I transfer data from Civil to IW), but still have problems with longer alignments with spirals ( initially import in the IW is fine, but later, when I try to define bridges, tunnels and changing the road style- problems come ), and other problem: import coverages from corridors with multiple baselines. But, yes, every build is better and better.

Thanks for the info, Denis. What version of InfraWorks 360 and Civil 3D are you using? Are you finding that the improvements made with Civil 3D to InfraWorks 360 exchange (Civil 3D 2015 Productivity Pack 1) have made this process better?

Thanks, Eric;
Yes, there are some problems with Civil 3D and Infraworks "exchange", particullary in the road profiles and vertical curves (IMX export from Civil to IW). Some of problems now are solved in newer Sandbox builds, but not all. I still have some Civil alignments (other projects) when problems persist (longer alignments with spirals, circular vertical curves....). So, in most of case, I typically do some "aligment simplify" to be sure that in IW everything works correctly.

Great visualization. Were there challenges in getting the Civil 3D data into InfraWorks? If so, how did you overcome them?
