Description

The InfraWorks model was created as part of a feasability study for a new swimming facility in the municipality of Ski in Norway. A short movie was created based on the InfraWorksmodel explaining the different facts and aspects of the facility. This video was used to present to the politicians during the approval process (Norwegian text only, sorry).

The InfraWorks model also made the base for the more advanced renderings done in Lumion.

The project was approved with at budget of aprox. 50 mill. Euro.

Hi Fernando. The terrain and scenery was modelled in InfraWorks and imported in Lumion for visualization. The building was modelled in Revit and imported in InfraWorks/Lumion.

Our more dedicated visualization team uses 3ds Max and Stingray amongst other software such as Lumion. Lumion produces great results within a much shorter timeline and has a very low user threshold. In this case, time was limited so we decided to use Lumion.

Big model though, why did you use Lumion instead of 3ds Max and/or Stingray?
