This model was designed 2 years ago. Time is always tech's biggest advisory. What was great when 1st designed is all but obsolete now. That is the case with all things.
very kool look! but now days this is to big and way to heavy in my opinion. i made a few types like this but smaller full cage thin even. but alas it does not keep up with the tiny frames.
Thanks Errison Zelaya Sr.
We are taking racing to the next level this year. X1 will blow your mind. 1 meter drones and up! We have started Team Autodesk X1. Amazing drone in the works. Stay tuned!
Hello Eli,
I like this, totally agree its taking the world by storm, its easy to get hook, just watch a few racing in the woods videos. I am designing a Y6 configuration in fusion 360, mostly for photography. Motor to motor will be 500mm to 550m, using Pixhawk 2 autopilot flight controller, 4s batteries, need recommendation on the proper size motors. Hardest part is gathering all the schematic info to place holes to secure components to the frame. It would be great if you could address this process.
Here is my recommended power train (of the moment) for the Marauder and most FPV racers in this size class:
Power train:
* 2204 / 2100 kv Motors by RCManChild
* 21 Amp RCManChild ESCs
* Power Distribution board w/ built in BEC
* Naze32 Flight controller w/ "Borris B." firmware programmed on Clean Flight.
* Orange 6channel RC from Hobby King
* LT200 FPV kit (Camera, 5.8gHz Transmitter, Antenna)
* Turing 2.2, 2200 Lipo Battery.
Hardware:
* 8 x 25mm Standoffs
* 32 x 3m button head screws
* 3M double sided tape
* Velcro Straps
* Zip Ties
Pilot:
* FatShark FPV Goggles
* Orange 6 Channel Radio Controller
* Lips Battery Charger
* Metric tool kit
* Drone Back Pack
The blue prints were also made in Fusion from an exploded view then sent over to the Drawing module where I composed the layout and saved it as a .PNG file. I then finished the images in Photoshop where I inverted the line color from black to white and added the blue background. Easy really.
ok so!! which software did u use to create that blue print because I was impress and motivated and I want to learn more about the software
and create something my self if can pls Email it the software so that I can also download. me At my Gmail at rafael26533@gmial.com thank u

THANK YOU!! MR.Eli
I have heard there are some doubters questioning if the Marauder can fly as advertised. There are now more than a dozen in the wild being tested and It absolutely flies! Testimonials have come back positive for it's flight characteristics, extremely stable and most important of all, FUN!

THANK YOU!!
Just added a new render featuring new rotor guards, making the drone over 5% safer, and foot pads.
The foot pad concept was taken from artist, Krill Chepizhko, who's work I can't praise enough. Look him up and follow.
Looks awesome!
hahah cool and funny scull !
