This is the one of bikes envisioned in my head. I didn't plan the frame for pro player's splendid technique or big drop. Just what I want to make is for long distance adventure off-road bike for beginners, old men, or women. A bike like this requires time to adjust for a short time, but enable much more comfortable riding.
1. Prostate Protection
It's the biggest reason for me to design this frame. Cycling can be the best sports for lower body strength, but can be the worst. It's because lots of people suffer severe pain in their prostates from bike-riding. For this reason, numerous cutout saddles are selling and lots of research works for saddles are continuing on. Riders purchase very expensive cutout saddles, like SMP or San Marco. They feel like they free from pain for a short time. But, they get to learn it's just a delusion. Some people look for another saddle with infinite repetition like Sisyphus and are disappointed every time. The shapes of saddles never can save us from the pain of prostate completely. Cutout saddles are better than normal saddles. But the shapes of saddles are not the essential solution. Cutout saddles make heavy pressure be concentrated on narrow area. On some occasion riders can't feel severe pain on their prostates but their prostates break down gradually too. Cutout saddles are not a good approach. The real important thing is the position of saddle and crank axle. That arrangement of saddle and crank axle doesn't make heavy pressure on prostate. This frame is designed to reduce the pain of prostate drastically. Just making a slight adjustment of the angle of the saddle can eliminates the pain of prostate.
2. Off-road Riding
Simple way removing the pain of prostate already exists. You have only to go recumbent bikes. But most people don't choose recumbent bikes. Recumbent bikes are tough for local riding. And off-road riding is much more difficult. Recumbent bikes are great bikes but unfortunately they are only for bike lanes. This frame is designed for long distance off-road riding. Chopper bikes are not for off-road riding either.
3. Big Size Comfort Saddle
In this bike, big size saddles don't disturb pedaling. You don't have to use narrow saddles fatal to prostate.
Common full suspension bikes' cranks and chainrings touch the ground nearly or really when the rear suspension works. But there is no need to worry about it in this bike.
This bike's saddle position is about 12-15 centimeters lower than general mountain bikes. It guarantees much more safety. And the lower center of gravity and long wheelbase make steep slope downhill and uphill easy.
6. Dropper Seatpost
Dropper Seatposts are unnecessary for this bike.
7. No distortion of the frame
Most E-MTBs have extremely plump downtubes to get more space for battery cells. But this frame don't need such a distortion. This frame have enough space for battery cells without distortion.
I designed this frame based on 27.5 inch wheels and 200 mm travel suspension but if it is made 24 inch wheels and 150-160 travel suspension version, wheelbase will be about 1220 -1280 mm. It is similar in length to common long travel mountain bike.
9. Elegant Line
In my head, this bike had much more dynamic lines and sexy curves, not a plain square pipe frame. But Fusion 360 was inconvenient and difficult for me. Moreover there are many restrictions and inconsistencies I can't understand. I designed this frame as single pivot link. But other link system like vpp or dw links are applicable.
