Description
02.04.2021 WIP - Design and prototyping of the chin spoiler, as well as a new, unified front fairing that combines the radiator pod surfaces into the front windscreen, removing the electronics from the fork and resulting in lighter steering feel. Daytime LEDs in the front fairing create an aggressive, unique aesthetic.

Brilliant, work how long did it take to do ?
Just love it! What a great job. Wish I was a fraction as skilled as you are!
I saw a project where you had created a chin spoiler. Looked really good. Are you willing to create and sell for public? I would be very interested in one. Thanks and keep up the work!
Yes, mainly the seat frame and tank. I am not to concerned with the body plastics at this time. I plan to identify all the mounting locations and work with from their. I have access to an Fortus 250 3D printer so I can prototype and correct dims. I also plan to disassemble parts of my bike and engine for reverse engineering. I have debated renting an industrial laser scanner. Please feel free to contact me at my personal email, insolublenitrate@gmail.com
Hey so I'm still working through it and the measurements are changing as I fit new components onto existing ones. Also, it's close, but not exact in all the dimensions simply because without a 3D scanner some surface and forms are impossible to measure perfectly... which parts would you need? I'm guessing the subframe and frame? My goal is also to design a custom build off the model once I have the rest of the bike modeled. Working on the radiator pods currently and they're tricky;)
Would you be will to share some of the models? I am trying to redesign seat/tail section in Inventor
You did all this in Fusion 360? Very impressive.
yes actually! Finished the tail fairing after a truly challenging time trying to reverse-engineer/model it while maintaining G2 continuity... pics posting in a sec
Great work. Any new updates?
as an 1125r owner, you are my hero.
ty very much!
very very cool
