Description
Started as an exercise in seeing how much data you can throw into Fusion and effectively work with. It got a bit out of hand... Assembly of data from GrabCAD, some tank, seat, air intake and lamp positioning, redesign and whatnot in Fusion, rendered in KeyShot. Panhead (modified rake to avoid that sketchy chopper look), Ducati 1100S front end and a tank inspired by the 1970s Triumphs (and listening to Check Your Head by the Beastie Boys on loop). Credits: grabcad.com/terry.stonehocker - grabcad.com/juramir.vicente.alves-1 - grabcad.com/kim.kronslev-1 Next steps: Redesign the sketchy upper exhaust to run paralell with the lower and a new oil tank that conforms to the frame more

Way to emphasize the gaskets since I understand they're a little troublesome on the panheads! ;)

Ha! No midlife crisis, only midlife epiphanies? :) I just got my license, but still haven't bought a bike because, well, downtown Portland. Parking my car is pain enough as it is!

Kat, no worries, with the caveat that much of it is GrabCAD data and a bit of special sauce (got a new version soon with new oil tank and exhaust)... Also thinking about doing a fairing version, ala the new BMW Concept Ninety (seen that? Mind bending key good. Had it in the magazine a month or two ago).

Ride? Not in a long old time, waiting for my mid-life crisis to kick in properly to get my helmet back on :/

Al, this is gorgeous! Do you ride? (And do you mind if I share this out on our social properties?)

Vroom, spectacular. The inspiration, magnificent.
